Well...let's see. I don't know how to describe me anymore. I was a 2nd grade teacher. I got pregnant and had a little boy and planned to take a 12 week maternity leave. God had different plans. My husband and I had a little boy with many special needs and I had to take a medical leave of absence from work to care for Ian. Ian had a rare genetic condition called Rhizomelic Chondrodysplasia Punctata (RCDP) and a heart condition called Tetralogy of Fallot. I took care of Ian 24 hours a day for 23 months and 3 weeks and then Ian went to play with Jesus. He is no longer here and that is where "Ian's Reason" came from. I am using Ian's Reason to share my faith with others and to show how you can survive adversity through faith.
I enjoy messages from family, friends, and blog readers like you. Please feel free to email me at maryellis96@yahoo.com. If I don't respond, it doesn't mean I wasn't deeply touched. Sometimes I just can't respond. I do read every message though.
